Observers fear Van Hollen’s election lawsuit will cause problems
Posted: Sept. 12, 2008
Madison - The lawsuit against the state's election authority
could lead to a spike in provisional ballots, which an election expert
said greatly increases the chances of a fight after Nov. 4 over who won
the presidential race in Wisconsin.
Republican Attorney General J.B. Van Hollen sued the state this week
to require more checks of voter information against driver's license
records - a move that critics say could force people off the voter
rolls and require them to cast provisional ballots. Provisional ballots
are counted only when voters provide proof of residence by the next day.
Van Hollen asked a Dane County judge Friday to expedite proceedings
in the case because the election is fast approaching. A hearing is
scheduled for Thursday.
Out There Comment: For years many conservatives and republicans in Wisconsin(especially the Milwaukee area)have felt that there has been a lot of election fraud going on and now, finally, out Atty General is doing something about it. There has been ACORN activists signing up voter by the tens of thousands and some have been charges with submitting false registration information. Now with this lawsuit let the games begin!!! Our state legislature(Senate & Governor = Dem) have been blocking photo ID's for voting using the tired argument that it would disenfranchise voters....er...um...this is after requireing them for their delates at their convention!! Liberal hypcrisy at work!!
Please be aware that ACORN is flooding red states to register 'new' voters. I am convinced that Wisconsin IS a RED State in all ways but the results which are up for grabs to the 'community Organizers'
